Our most advanced filter technology, SmartFilters are designed to deliver superior performance with data-based filter lifetime tracking, a smart RFID chip, and longer filter life (maximum of 1 year). A particle filter layer removes airborne particles like pollen, dust, mold spores, pet dander, viruses and bacteria, and smoke particles, while activated carbon throughout the filter absorbs gases, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), chemicals, and odors.
HealthProtect 7400 series shown to remove 99.99% of airborne SARS-CoV-2 in a 13 ft³ test chamber. Not proven to kill/prevent transmission of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Other Blueair purifiers have not been tested against SARS-CoV-2.
